Welcome to Pinner Skip Hire. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our skip hire services. By booking a skip with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.

1. Booking Terms

All bookings are subject to availability. To secure a skip, you must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process.

1.1 Reservation

Booking Confirmation: A booking confirmation email will be sent upon successful reservation.
Booking Details: Ensure all details such as size, location, and contact information are correct.
Minimum Booking Period: Skips can be hired for a minimum of 7 days.

1.2 Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time are free of charge.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the booking cost.

2. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in full prior to the delivery of the skip. We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.

2.1 Pricing

Fixed Rates: Our prices are fixed based on the size of the skip and the rental period.
Additional Charges: Any additional services or extended rental periods will incur extra charges.

2.2 Late Payments

Late payments may result in the cancellation of your booking and additional fees.

3. Delivery and Collection

We strive to deliver and collect skips on the agreed dates. Any delays will be communicated promptly.

3.1 Delivery

Access Requirements: You must ensure there is sufficient space and safe access for delivery.
Prohibited Locations: Skips cannot be placed on pavements or public roads without proper permits.

3.2 Collection

Upon collection, our team will ensure the skip is emptied of all contents. Any remaining items may incur additional charges.

4. Usage of Skip

By hiring a skip, you agree to use it solely for the intended purpose of waste disposal.

4.1 Allowed Waste

Household waste
Builders' refuse
Garden waste

4.2 Prohibited Waste

Hazardous Materials: Including asbestos, chemicals, and flammable substances.
Medical Waste: Including syringes and other medical disposables.
Electrical Appliances: Such as refrigerators and televisions.

5. Liability

Pinner Skip Hire is not liable for any damage to property or injury to persons arising from the misuse of the skip or failure to comply with these terms.

5.1 Customer Responsibility

Ensuring the skip is not overloaded beyond its capacity.
Properly securing the load to prevent spillage during transport.

5.2 Insurance

We carry public liability insurance. However, customers are advised to check their own insurance policies regarding coverage of waste disposal activities.

6. Prohibited Activities

Customers must not use the skip for any illegal activities or dispose of prohibited items as outlined in section 4.2.

6.1 Illegal Disposal

Any attempt to dispose of illegal substances or engage in unlawful activities with the skip will result in immediate termination of the contract and possible legal action.

7. Changes to Terms

Pinner Skip Hire reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes prior to their booking.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pinner Skip Hire operates. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that area.

9. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data. All information provided during booking is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws.

9.1 Data Usage

Personal information is used solely for the purpose of providing our services.
We do not share your data with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9.2 Data Security
